We hit up one of the all time classic Australian race venues, Thredbo, for round two of the National Series. Even without the racing, a combination of blue skies and endless chairlift runs meant that riders were smiling all weekend long.
Our man on the scene RF Photographics gives us a run down of the weekend, a few points to note;
– Caroline Buchanan was on hand to add some spice to the women’s race, which was looking to be a tight race between Tegan Molloy and Danielle Beecroft as it was.
– Troy Brosnan was on his new Canyon, just like round 1, to get some practice on his new bike.
– The junior men’s race was up in the air with any number of rider capable of winning!
With office views like this you can’t complainWith very little rain the past week up in Thredbo the track was really dustyTroy effortlessly floating over the rocks in practiceIn Practice Jake Newell is one that stood out the most to me, flying and getting wild everywhere.Riley getting back to his best since his crash here a little over a year ago.Eyes focused on the way down the true blue chuteThredbo provided great weather over the first 2 days of practiceSome took a little longer than others to get to grips with the dry and dusty track in practiceRemy and Paddi punching runs
