After a short break since the last world cup the riders, teams, officials, photographers and everyone else involved has reconvened in picturesque Switzerland for round 5. We were here last year so we knew what to expect, the track is riding dry and fast. There is no denying the chatter around the fact some of the wild, big, wide open corners have been changed to smoother berms (bike park is the term we have heard). Regardless times will be tight and we arein for a good race, remember last year Greg Minnaar claimed an all time overall record 18th world cup win here and Dean Lucas climbed onto the podium in 3rd.

It has already claimed a few victims!Steve Peat showing off his ‘mad cow’ paint theme for this race.Aaron Gwin was looking fast in practice, doing lines even his team mate struggled with!Connor Fearon would be at home on this dry, dusty track one would think.Tracey Hannah will be looking to get on the top step of the podium after being so close all season.Tahnee Seagrave is back. The junior competition will be tight as always, Finn Illes showing off the number 1 plate.Greg Minnaar, last years winner.Rachel ATherton showing off her special Fox 40s coloured for riders leading the series (Aaron Gwin also has a pair).
Next up is qualifying – we expect it to stay dry and fast so check back soon.
