The final round of the South Australian Inside Line downhill series was held on one of the more technical race tracks on the Inside Line calendar, ‘The Curse’ at Fox Creek. Being the final race of the series riders were looking for a good result to improve their rankings in the overall series.
The start of the weekend saw weather that was less than perfect but conditions have been a lot worse at Fox before! Molly Payne continued her excellent season, this race she was the only Elite Female rider on the daunting track. The see-sawing battle between Angus Maddern and Cameron Ryan in the Under 19 Men category continued, Cameron winning this one by only 0.100 of a second! The two fastest times of the day went to these riders, watch out when they move to Elite! In Elite, Connor Fearon, fresh off the plane from the Champery World Championships, took the win. With the conditions at Fox being no where as difficult as Champery.
