Myriam ‘Pom Pom’ Nicole was stoked the whole afternoon with her 1st World Cup victory.
Rachel Atherton ended up 3rd on the day and 3rd overall, not too shabby considering she missed the first race of the year.

A selection of images from race day can be found below, after that the overall World Cup Rankings can be seen.

The Europeans definitely like their cycling and start them young!
Brook MacDonald finished in 7th place, next year should be a good one for him.
30th for Fairclough, he has been selected to race worlds so look for a good result from him in Champery.
Fabien Pedemanaud has previously spent the off season racing in Australia.
Luke Strobel launching a drop near the bottom of the course, depsite the technical nature of the track there weren't that many big jumps or drops on the track, rather, technical ground obstacles.
A definite crowd favourite, Josh Bryceland, finished 11th at the track he won the Junior Wolrd Championships on.

Aaron Gwin already had the Men’s overall wrapped up before this race and Tracey Mosely was all but gauranteed the Womens title but there where more places to consider other than first.
